(1) The year 2020-2021, no one would have guessed that a virus like Covid-19 would come and it would alter life style of people. Due to Covid-19, many changes came to our society and it took some time for every one of us to adopt the new normals. The covid-19 impact was seen everywhere, which resulted in the closure of schools and other educational institutions.
(2) It was too difficult for many teachers and also students to adopt the digital education (Online Classes), during lock-down period and also later. Our school with support and efforts of our teachers immediately took chargeof on-line classes. Teachers had taken immense efforts to encourage all those students, who were unable to access the system. Many enthusiasticparents have also supported our teachers and their children throughout this toughperiod. Here we also took into consideration the problems faced by less techno-savy parents and students and guided them effectively to join the digital platform.
(3) Taking it positively we see that "technology has paved the way for education". It has enabled the students and teachers to connect virtuallythrough on-line class room, webinars, digital exams, on-line activities andso on.
(4) Teachers too attended various webinars conducted by Nishtha, Diksha and CBSE. Webinars attended by teachers were based on ‘Technology blended learning', NEP2020, Learning outcomes, Experiential learning, Competency based education, Art Integration etc....
(5) These webinars have proved to be very useful to all the teachers and could improve their quality of teaching. Well-efficient teachers showed different short videos to clear the concept of the subjects. Students too enjoyed these videos.
(6) Maximum strength of students with their best interest, responded to virtual activities like yoga, Independence -day celebration, Rakhi- making activity, Janamastmi celebration, Solo song/ dance, Making best out of waste etc. They also participated in the magnificent activities held by CBSE like Pariksha-pe-charcha, Art Integrated leaning. Many students also got enrolled for online exams conducted by SOF and secured outstanding results.
(7) Our school had also arranged for on line PTMs to give additional details to parents regarding students academic progress.
(8) All required protocol for Covid-19, laid down by government was followed throughout the year. When secondary and upper primary classes resumed in offline mode, It was a must for the students to submit a dually signed consent letter by their parents, before attending classes. Teachers also took efforts to monitor that students don't make groups and stand inside or near our school gate.
(9) When the government granted permission for Off-line classes and exams our students were given choice to opt for any of the On-line or off line mode.
(10) During this period we got superb support from parents they were extremely happy with all the extra-efforts taken by our teachers. Our school is thankful for their support and association and we expect the same supportin the coming years as well.
(11)To reduce the mental stress and to inculcate in students the values of Indian culture and heritage, students are motivated to participate in various activities arranged by spiritual institutions. As part of this, they became the part of value education contest organised by ISKCON and won exciting prizes too.
(12) Slowly and steadily, when we are coming out of this pandemic, physical fitness has again come into the main stream. To lay equal emphasis on sports the students of our school are enthusiastically guided to participate in Khel MahaKumbh and they proved themselves outstanding in various events like Athletics, Karate and many more.
(13) Save Nature, Pave future'- under this slogan our School has organised activities such as Plantation, Earth day celebration, PrakritiPujan etc. Students really got enthusiastically involved in all these activities and celebrations with our highly active teachers and other staff members.
